How do I access my statements?
If you have not created an account with MineralAnswers.com yet, you will first need to register. You can register your account using the link below:
If you already have an account set up with MineralAnswers.com, you can login here.
What information do I need to register my account?
You will need the following information from one of your past statements in order to register your account:
Owner number
Check number
Check amount
Be sure to select "Royalty Owner" as your role and "Royalty Statement" as your statement validation type.
What if I can't remember my password?
If you cannot remember your password, you can reset your password using the link below:
Helpful Tip: If you do not receive an email to reset your password, be sure to check your Spam folder!
How do I access my 1099 online?
Once you have created your account, navigate to your Inbox and select the "Tax Documents" tab.
How do I set up direct deposit payments?
As a Hibernia Resources owner, you now have the ability to control all of your personal information, including how you receive your royalty payments. To upgrade your account from checks to direct deposit payments, follow these simple steps:
Log into your account, click on your name in the upper right corner and select Payment Settings.
Verify your identity. (For detailed instructions on how to verify your identity, check out this article - How do I verify my identity?)
Now that your identity is verified, You'll be able to enroll in direct deposit or modify an existing bank account.
Click the "In need to..." button and select "Upgrade to Direct Deposit"
Enter your bank information and click save. This will create a micro-deposit sent to that account in 2-3 business days. You'll need to keep an eye out for this small deposit (< $1.00), and return to back to your payment settings verify your account by entering that amount.
Once your bank account is verified by entering in the correct micro-deposit amount you're done!
Congratulations, you'll now be paid directly to that account!
How do I change my address?
If you are receiving paper checks and need to change your address, you can do that within the portal now, too. In order to change the address of where you will receive checks, simply:
Log into your account, click on your name in the upper right corner and select Payment Settings.
Verify your identity. (For detailed instructions on how to verify your identity, check out this article - How do I verify my identity?)
Now that your identity is verified, click on "I need to..." underneath the "Actions" column and select "Change Address."
Fill out the information in the address form.
If you have an apartment or suite number, simply choose the address and then add it into the address 2 field.
Click "Save."
What if I receive statements from other operators as well?
If you receive statements from other operators that host their statements on MineralAnswers.com, you can easily add those statements to your account using the "Add Statements" option at the top of the "My Statements" page. You can see a dropdown menu of all the operators we host statements for there.
