Access Payment Settings
First make sure you are signed in to MineralAnswers.com.
Click your name in the top right corner of the screen.
Select Payment Settings from the dropdown menu.
Start Identity Verification
On the Payment Settings page, click the blue and white button labeled Start Your Identity Verification.
Begin verifying
You can now click Begin Verification.
Our verification process uses a third party, trusted service for secure identity verification.

The type of verification you choose depends on who this account represents. This article helps those trying to verify a Trust.
Prepare
Grab a government ID and be ready to use a webcam for a selfie. If you don't have a webcam you can upload photos.
Verify Your Identity
Select your country from the dropdown menu
Choose the type of ID you want to use for verification.
Photos
Note: If your computer doesn’t have a camera or you don't have a photo ID on your computer, you can choose to continue on another device and you can use a QR code, email, or text to continue the process on another device.
Use your computer's camera to take a picture of your ID, or upload an existing photo. (Your browser may ask for permission to use your camera. Click Allow.)
Align your ID with the camera and click Take Photo.
If you aren’t happy with the photo, you can always retake it.
Review Your Information
Make sure we captured your information correctly.
Complete Biometric Verification
Use your camera to complete a biometric reading of your face by turning your head
Follow on screen instructions: Look into the camera and slowly turn head left, pause, then right. If it doesn't work, try removing your glasses.
Type of trust
Choose your trust type, Revocable or Irrevocable, then click Continue.
Step 9: Proof of Authority
Choose Upload then select a proof of authority PDF file.
Approval
Now that your operator has been notified, they will review the documents submitted then let you know if they have been approved, declined, or of if they need additional information.
